Title Case. In A35, all words in title-cased text have their first letters capitalized, except for articles, conjunctions, and prepositions, which only have their first letter capitalized if such a word is the first in a given phrase. Examples of articles include “a”, “an”, and “the”. Examples of conjunctions include “and”, “or”, “nor”, or “but”. Examples of prepositions include “against”, “at”, “for”, “from”, “in”, “into”, “like”, “of”, “on”, “than”, “through”, “to”, “via”, “with”, and “without”.
A35 is designed with a deliberate horizontal folder hierarchy such that no folder is more than three layers from the root A35 folder. All hyperlinks within A35 are relative to that folder so that the site can be easily moved to another host if needed.
All file names, hyperlinks, and ID attributes in HTML tags in A35 are formatted to the following specification from their original text appearance, hereafter referred to as A35 Link format:
Current CAP List (Comma Separated): a, against, an, and, as, at, for, from, in, into, like, of, on, or, than, the, through, to, via, with, without
All prose generated by large language models should use include the "add" class in its opening tag (usually <p>), and have the code AIappended just before its closing tag (usually </p>).
− for negatives and minus signs; – for ranges (4–6 HD).—. In prose, use —. The em dash used outside of prose usually indicates the lack of something:damage reduction 5/—Str — indicates a creature with no Strength score, such as an incorporeal creature.&. Use the word “and” in prose except for business and brand names such as “Dungeons & Dragons®”.½, not “1/2”; ¼, not “1/4”. HTML entities exist for denominators of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 for all fractions of those numbers that cannot be expressed as a fraction with a lower denominator. Example: there is not an entity for “2/8” because ¼ is a better way to express it. If the numerator (or N) divides evenly into the denominator (or D), divide both by N and use &fracND;, or if D = 2, ½.
If an entity does not exist for a fraction, use N⁄D instead of “N/D”, so “1/25” is expressed in A35 HTML code as 1⁄25.
Certain fraction entities do not display well in the Georgia font used for most of A35; namely ⅓ and ⅙. Use N⁄D instead of those entities.
In cases where a whole number is followed by a hyphen and an N/D style fraction (such as “2-1/2”), delete the hyphen and convert the N/D fraction as stated above.

In a sample templated creature file, the template name should be excluded from the CREATURE_ID. Example: in a file of sample fiendish creatures, a Fiendish Giant Praying Mantis would have a header of <h2 id="Giant_Praying_Mantis">Fiendish Giant Praying Mantis</h2>. This makes the hyperlink to a sample templated creature cleaner, e.g. ../../Creatures/T_C/Fiendish#Giant_Praying_Mantis.<caption> tags must flank the creature name and Type/Subtype vertically.<h2 id="Creature_Name">.
