A flaming burst weapon functions as a flaming weapon.
In addition, the weapon automatically explodes with flame upon a successful critical hit, dealing extra fire damage as set out on the table below. This fire does not harm you or any creature other than the target. This is a continuous effect and requires no activation. Even if the weapon has not been activated to deal the extra 1d6 points of fire damage that comes from the flaming property, the weapon still deals its extra fire damage on a successful critical hit.
