An icy burst weapon functions as a frost weapon.
In addition, the weapon automatically explodes with frost upon a successful critical hit, dealing extra frost damage as set out on the table below. This frost does not harm you or any creature other than the target. This is a continuous effect and requires no activation. Even if the weapon has not been activated to deal the extra 1d6 points of frost damage that comes from the flaming property, the weapon still deals its extra frost damage on a successful critical hit.
