Wondrous magical items are by far the largest category of magic items in Dungeons and Dragons®. In Archive Three-Five, they are subcategorized by the body slot they occupy. Those that occupy no body slot are categorized under “slotless”. This category also covers wondrous items that have to be held but not worn. The Page Index above allows direct access to each of the body slot lists in this section.
As with spells, A35 follows the naming conventions of the Standard Reference Document for item names. Original names are italicized and enclosed in ﴾ornate parentheses﴿ in the list below. (Names in regular parentheses are merely alternate names, not deprecated ones.)
Epic wondrous items are relegated to their own list, regardless of body slot.
This subcategory includes armbands, bracelets, and bracers.
This subcategory includes armor and robes. This should not be confused with the Torso subcategory below.
These are items that are used once and expended, made singly or in multiple doses, or otherwise have a limited number of uses. They almost never occupy a body slot. Many are elixirs that act like potions or oils but do not meet the criteria of such. This category does not include items which merely have a chance to become nonmagical after a use, like the efreeti bottle.
